اناته منذ نحو شهرين من الإلتهاب الكبدي الفيروسي.
الراحل يعتبر من مواليد الفاتح جويلية من عام 1963 ببلدية سطح قنتيس بولاية تبسة، متزوج وأب لثلاثة أطفال، موظف بمديرية الخدمات الجامعية سيدي عمار، وقد ترأس فريق جيل سيدي سالم في موسم 1994 / 1995، قبل أن يتوقف الجيل عن النشاط لسنتين متتاليتين، لكن عودته إلى النشاط في سنة 2001 كانت تحت قيادة الرئيس أيمن محمود الذي يعتبر لدى سكان المنطقة بمثابة الأب الروحي للفريق، وقد كانت بداية الموسم الكروي الجاري إستثنائية بالنسبة لجيل سيدي سالم، لأن إدارة الفريق قد سطرت الصعود إلى قسم ما بين الرابطات كهدف أساسي، بعد ما كان يلعب أدوارا أساسية لسنوات عديدة، اكتفى خلالها باحتلال المركز الثاني في ترتيب بطولة الجهوي الأول لرابطة عنابة في ثلاثة مواسم، لكن مباراة الدور الجهوي الأخير من تصفيات كأس الجزائر والتي أجراها الجيل يوم 26 نوفمبر 2011 بملعب باجي مختار بسوق أهراس تبقى محطة بارزة وتاريخية بالنسبة لأبناء الجيل بعد أن حققوا فوزا وتأهلا تاريخيا على حساب ترجي ڤالمة، وهي المقابلة الأخيرة التي تابعها رئيس الفريق الراحل رحمة الله عليه.
