Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a Pakistani born in Kuwait, the original mother and father of the Pakistani and U.S. authorities believe that Sheikh Mohammed is the third most prominent leaders of al Qaeda before his arrest in March 2003 and was detained at an undisclosed location until it was converted to the prison of Guantanamo.

On Thursday, March 15, 2007 Sheikh Mohammed confessed that he is responsible for the events of 11 September from the ground up as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed confessed to planning for 29 other jihadist process, including the attacks on the building of Big Ben and Heathrow Airport in London.

Among those attacks, which he said Mohamed said he was responsible for planning, attempt to blow up an airliner over the Atlantic Ocean, using explosives hidden in shoes, and the bombing of a nightclub on the island of "Bali" Indonesia, as well as another attack on the World Trade Center in 1993.
