The Associated Press reported that the author of the film and its director Sam Basile spoke by telephone on Tuesday from an undisclosed location, describing Islam as a "cancer" and that he wanted the film to send a political message.
He knew the producer and director, 56-year-old himself as an Israeli Jew, and expressed his belief that his film will help his native country through the "expose flaws Islam to the world," according to Associated Press reported.
