Defense Department says U.S. Pentagon that she may sue a former special forces elements authored a book on the initial details of the military operation to kill Osama bin Laden in April / May 2011.
The legal adviser to the U.S. Department of Defense informed the author of the book, a former member of the U.S. Navy, he violated agreements on non-deployment of military secrets.
The Defense Ministry said that the author signed two documents with the U.S. Navy in 2007 Tqzian not disclose military secrets.
It is expected to be released book next week and is titled "It's not an easy day," and bears the name of Mark Owen, a pseudonym for the author.
No book is reviewed prior to publication by the Pentagon, or the CIA, or the White House.
Officials have warned that criminal charges had gone as a result of disclosure "illegal" for confidential information.
Material breach
Addressed the General Counsel for the Pentagon J. Johnson Author on Thursday and told him that the documents relating to the non-disclosure of secrets and signed by obliged not to "reveal all" for any confidential information.
Said the letter, addressed to the author "in relation to the Ministry of Defense, you've a material breach and violation of the agreements on non-disclosure of information, and that you have to sign it."
The letter added that the Ministry of Defense is considering "all the solutions available to us legally."
Reports have emerged this week says that the new book contradicts the statement in the official version of the military operation targeting bin Laden.
The book says that bin Laden was shot once considered outside his bedroom, as soldiers rushed to the stairs, and, according to The Associated Press news agency that reviewed the preliminary version of the book.
U.S. officials have declared that bin Laden was killed after he disappeared into his bedroom, amid fears of possible carry a weapon.
The book also shows that U.S. special forces were not greatly impressed with President Barack Obama, even though they praised his decision to start the process.
